The Annapolis Fanfare

Band friends, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I first want to thank John Mackey (Osti Music) for allowing me to showcase some of my music in his booth at Midwest this year. I met so many of you, and appreciate the large interest you showed in the following project. I promised I would send the invite via LISTSERVE(CBDNA) and my website, so here it is:

A couple of friends of mine (a colleague here at La Sierra University and a member of the Naval Academy Band), would like me to transcribe my original Annapolis Fanfare (orginally for trumpets) into a fanfare for band. Neither of them are CBDNA members, so I’m reaching out to you via my account…The original is quite short, so I would add about a two minutes to the piece. Please follow the soundcloud file to listen to the original fanfare (performed by US Naval Academy Band trumpets).

The Annapolis Fanfare is being dedicated to military musicians, in deep gratitude and appreciation for their service

The consortium fee is only $75! Your name and school will appear on the score (individual supporters are also welcome). The piece will be finished in a little over a month. GRADE 4ish. You’ll receive parts and a score in PDF format. Your support is much appreciated. To sign up for the consortium, simply follow the interest form (google). You can also send me an email and I can sign you up.
